When 36-year-old Naim went to the doctor due to sudden stomach pains and digestive problems, he was diagnosed with GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor) in his duodenum.

GIST is a rare tumor of the digestive system that can have serious consequences if not diagnosed early. These types of tumors usually occur in one section of the digestive tract, but in Naim's case, the tumor developed in his duodenum.

Treatment Process:

Naim's treatment process began with surgery followed by chemotherapy. GIST tumors usually require surgical intervention to remove. Naim's surgery was successful, but it was only the beginning. The family’s health problems weren’t limited to adults. Naim’s youngest daughter was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis as a child. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease in which the immune system attacks the joints, and it can cause limited movement and pain, especially for young children. Their daughter’s illness also put an extra emotional burden on the family.
